     After Taylors many challenges from drama revolving around Blake Lively and getting booed at the super bowl, this singer still manages to continue to break records! In recent events, Taylor has been losing staggering amounts of instagram followers. On a positive note, Taylor just became the first female artist in history to hit over a billion streams on Spotify making her the second highest earner, following Drake. She earned around $7,713,106 whilst Drake received $7,717,905. Even though, due to recent events, she hasn’t issued statements revolving around the drama and her boyfriend's super bowl loss, she still continues to gain successes with her music career.      Fans are left speechless as a known secret song from Taylor Swift's hit album “Lover” may have been given up to a new up and coming artist. In February of 2023, the song “Need” was leaked but was soon taken off platforms leaving fans to “need” the song. Singer Steven Wilmont posted a cover on February 13th, leaving fans to speculate if he was behind the making of the song or if it was unauthorized. The song was not posted on the U.S copyright database and not registered to any music licensed organizations. Steven even used the same whimsical and colorful background Taylor used in the album it would’ve been set to. He soon replied to the backlash saying he gives Taylor full credit and does not associate with her or her team. As of now, the cover has been removed from multiple streaming platforms but Steven hopes to have it back up soon.      In March of 2023, Taylor kicked off what is to be known as one of the biggest tours in history. After its 66th show run, the tour earned over $1 billion dollars, it was the highest grossing tour ever. By the end of the tour, that number doubled to $2.078 billion. In her last show in toronto, the singer stated “My band, my crew, all of my fellow performers, we have put so much of our lives into this” as she teared up feeling so grateful for the opportunity. Swift played a total of 149 shows across 5 continents as fans travelled an average of up to 338 miles just to see her! Many visited to hear “surprise songs” and have the chance to see a huge number of special guests including Sabrina Carpenter, Paramore, and Gracie Abrams. The tour also gained attention with popular merch sales, a movie, and even a book release.      The famous cat lover, Miss Taylor Swift, is rumored to have made a huge commitment with her long term boyfriend Travis by adding a new addition to their lives. Travis' brother, Jason Kelce reveals in his podcast that Travis may have gotten a puppy! Jason discussed the damages done to the back of  an expensive couch due to the help of a recent furry addition to his brother's life.      Taylor Swift is known to be friends with popular actress Blake Lively, but is that famous friendship over? It has been reported that Taylor has “taken a step back” from the friendship due to recent events over Blake and her “It Ends with Us” co-star Justin Baldoni. Swift received an SNL 50th anniversary invite as a guest alongside Blake but did not want to be seen there. As Justin Baldoni attempts to sue Blake Lively, he claims Swift was used to intimate him during filming of the movie.      On Sunday, February 9th, Taylor Swift attended Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, Louisanna. Swift is dating famous football star, Travis Kelce, and has been regularly attending his games in support of him. Although, many football fans speculate that she is their lucky charm or is she ruining football. Taylor was put on the big screen during a slideshow of many other celebrities and was met with heckling and booing. She mouthed “what is going on” in response to the loud remarks being made about her. Many still argue that she improved the fanbase of the NFL because the league grew with women by 21% in 2023 to 2024. The NFL took the opportunity to capitalize on this marketing opportunity and use the world's biggest superstar as a positive impact on watching the game although many don’t agree.      On Sunday, February 6th, the 67th annual Grammy awards took place and Taylor Swift stuns the red carpet once again. Attending in a Vivienne Westwood gown with a trademark "T" hanging on her upper thigh, fan speculate on what it could mean. Meanwhile, Taylor was nominated for six separate categories whilst millions were eager for her to win an award. Since, her eleventh studio album, "The Tortured Poets Department," topped charts for 17 weeks straight and hit over a billion streams, a win was highly expected. She had the honor of presenting country album of the year and watching her fellow friends and songwriters, such as Sabrina Carpenter and Beyonce, win many other awards.
