Swift Closed Out Her Highly Successful and Record Breaking Tour: The Eras Tour

    In March of 2023, Taylor kicked off what is to be known as one of the biggest tours in history. After its 66th show run, the tour earned over $1 billion dollars, it was the highest grossing tour ever. By the end of the tour, that number doubled to $2.078 billion. In her last show in toronto, the singer stated “My band, my crew, all of my fellow performers, we have put so much of our lives into this” as she teared up feeling so grateful for the opportunity. Swift played a total of 149 shows across 5 continents as fans travelled an average of up to 338 miles just to see her! Many visited to hear “surprise songs” and have the chance to see a huge number of special guests including Sabrina Carpenter, Paramore, and Gracie Abrams. The tour also gained attention with popular merch sales, a movie, and even a book release. After this long and powerful tour, Taylor will take a step back from the stage while fans fill with anticipation on what she’ll do next.
